Notes: This is the third show in Chicago. The show was broadcasted on the Internet worldwide, and this bootlegs contains the (nearly) complete 56 kbs show. Just "Rio" is missing from the tracklist of my copy. This is the only "Let It Flow" full show available in soundboard quality. The performance is good, except "Electric Barbarella", which Simon sings out of tune and not at the right moment. The rest of the show is good, so "Electric Barbarella" is just a (funny) accident. "Pop Trash Movie" (in 300 kbs quality) is excellent.

Notes: Very good recording! I really like the way that this cd sounds. The show is good, the tracklist is the regular one for that tour; the most noticeable thing here is that Duran Duran came back tonight at the Pine Knob Theatre in Detroit 17 YEAR AFTER their famous Detroit 82 performance (on August 09th) - here listed in the "Rio World Tour" page - as SOUND OF THUNDER. The show are obviously very different, but there are five songs that are on both the bootlegs: Girls On Film, Rio, Hungry Like The Wolf, Planet Earth and Friends Of Mine: so, you can enjoy yourself listening to both the cds to find equalities and differences in beetween those songs... same town, same theatre, same month, same songs... but 17 years of career and live performances make the difference!

Audio Quality: EXCELLENT AUDIENCE (au10) perfect recording!
Notes: This is the best audience recording I've got in my collection. It's hard to believe this is not a very good soundboard, but it's true. The tracklist is not complete, missing three songs at the beginning of the show and "Planet Earth", "The Reflex" and "Rio". "Secret Oktober" and "Pop Trash Movie" are my favourite moments in this CD.

Notes: Duran Duran come back at The Joint in Las Vegas. This is one of the the best sounding bootlegs of the "Let It Flow" tour, so if you need just one cd of this tour, as a nice companion to the Chicago Cybercast bootleg (that is the only soundboard bootleg of the 99 tour), I think this is the right choice; the tracklist here is complete, also including the Intro of the show and "Everything Is Fine" that was the intro for the last encore, "Rio". "Out Of My Mind", in its "Perfecto Style" version, is wonderful. "Someone Else Not Me", that was unknown at the time, is very sweet.

Notes: This is the audience recording of the show the guys played in New York for the VH-1 Hard Rock Live. A soundboard recording and the video versions are also available. The setlist of this show is different from the usual one, because the show was played for the TV broadcast. This audience recording lacks of "Rio", which is included in the soundboard version. "White Lines" was played twice, and just the second take was aired on the TV broadcast. This is one of the most famous 99 bootlegs, and a must for every collector.

Notes: Duran Duran only played one concert in the UK during the "Let It Flow" tour. Lots of fans from all over Europe reached London to attend the show. There are many bootlegs of the Earl's Court performance, and the CD I list here is an audience recording of that unique show, in excellent quality. The show was great, the crowd excited. That night was Waco's birthday, so you can hear the crowd singing "Happy Birthday dear Warren". Here are all the (at the time) unreleased tracks, that is "Someone Else Not Me", "Pop Trash Movie", "Hallucinating Elvis" and "Lava Lamp" (cuts off at the end of the song), but, unfortunately, the setlist is not complete, missing "Electric Barbarella".
As bonus tracks, a good collection of live performances: "Pop Trash Movie" is from the Chicago 99 cybercast; "Come Undone" and "Starting To Remember" are acoustic performances on radio. You'll like this cd, I'm sure.
